I am employed as an assistant librarian in the Twin Cities of Minnesota and proudly pay dues to my union, an AFSCME local.

I dropped out of film school in 2019 after two years of noncommittal study. I fumbled with many mediums during the pandemic including acrylics, photography, and poetry. I inherited a birthright when I cut my first magazine pages in January 2021. My mother has been a scrapbooker all my life; papercrafts are in my blood. Collage proved an immediate and accessible medium- for months I worked with free and scavenged material. The early works were motivated by anger and yielded a style that was reactive and propagandistic. Since, my style has evolved and shifted focus to storytelling, nuanced emotion, and precision. I aim to elevate collage as a fine art and for it to be considered a valued mode of visual storytelling. 

When not shelving books or cutting them up, I enjoy long reads and slow walks, and playing board games with good friends.
