Austin Wallace is a collage artist and proud union-represented assistant librarian working in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Austin dropped out of film school in 2019, and after giving up many other image-making pursuits, found collage in early 2021. He embraced it for its depth and immediacy. His early style was propagandistic and punchy, and has since evolved into one that values precision, narrative, and emotion. Austin’s goal with collage is to elevate it both as a fine art and as valued way of visual storytelling.

Austin credits his partner and art practice for his continued sobriety. When not collaging, he can be found reading or playing board games with good friends.
